SLP PHONETICS!Phonetic transcription is something all speech-language pathologists (SLPs) know and do, almost daily. But if you’re like me, my reports, which are read by other SLPs as well as non-SLPs rarely contain the phonetic characters—not by design—but because I don’t (until now!) have the font.Well, listen up SLPs, now you can include your phonetics: We now have our OWN font called “SLP Phonetics”. Yep! No more spending valuable time and an-arm-and-a-leg buying fonts that don’t contain what you need. And, best of all, your reports will reflect sound-accuracy and look much more professional! Be assured, the installation instructions are provided for you. If you’ve never done it before, don’t worry, it’s easy, just follow the 1-2-3 directions. And voila! The SLP Phonetics are in your very own computer. There is also a Key Map for you. It corresponds to the keys on your computer keyboard. Included are the phonetic characters, as well as all of the other letters for ease of typing the complete transcribed word. Congratulations SLPs on your new SLP Phonetics font! P.S. True story: I needed phonetics badly for a book I was writing. I went online and purchased two fonts (each for $29.95) and neither met my needs. I was so disgusted that my expert computer guru and I decided to change all that and make our own phonetics font—so we did! I hope this makes your life easier, too.
